Loving this give-away thing!

I had a contest on my Facebook group for everyone who invites friends to the group to get it up to 300 can put their name in to win a free cake! It was AMAZING! I couldn't believe how fast it got up to 300 people! And in the meantime, I decided to have surprise winners as well =) When it got to 250 and 275 I announced winners of half a dozen cupcakes. I'm LOVING it! I always love when businesses give stuff away and I love giving stuff away!

The Amherst Home Show is coming up next weekend - really looking forward to it! I can't wait to see everyone and sell some cupcakes!

Wedding Cake

Here's a wedding cake I did this past weekend. I think it turned out great! It was a white pound cake with chocolate hazelnut in between the layers and buttercream/fondant covered. The flowers are real but everything else is edible!

Upcoming Events

I will be making vanilla/carmel cupcakes for the Relay for Life team: Clare's Cares headed by Nancy Boudreau. Click on the "Upcoming Events" header to take you to the group if you're interested in buying some to support a huge cause!

The Scotiabank in the Amherst Centre Mall is having a cake auction for the Relay for Life on May 6th. I will be donating a cake for this as well! I have asked all group members for ideas for the cake and the best idea will receive 20% their next cake! I'm realy looking forward to all the input!

Wedding season is upon us and it is looking like a busy year! I am so excited to be such a big part in so many peoples big day! I'll definately be posting pictures of all the beautiful cakes!
